Nanjing Museum
Founded in 1933, the Nanjing Museum in Nanjing, the capital of the Chinese province of Jiangsu, is one of the most important museums in the People's Republic of China. As a national central museum, it displays ancient bronzes, clay and jade artefacts, ink paintings, Ming and Qing porcelain, and silk art – presenting ancient Chinese history in a thoroughly modern building.
