Access Entry wasn’t just any company — for 24 years, it had built a strong reputation across Australia for quality, efficiency, and security. With its headquarters in Seaford, Victoria, plus additional sites in Sydney and Brisbane, Access Entry already played a major role in some of the country’s biggest automatic‑door markets. Gilgen had partnered with them since 2015, gradually taking more ownership, and even supporting the establishment of the Gilgen Academy in Melbourne in 2023. This academy became a place where technicians across Australia could learn, grow, and build their careers.
Thanks to the acquisition, Gilgen and Access Entry were able to expand their physical footprint even further. The combined teams opened up new opportunities across the country, ensuring that Gilgen had a direct presence across Australia’s major urban regions. The acquisition of Beta Automatic Doors & Gates also expanded the network, strengthening Gilgen’s reach in three of Australia’s largest automatic‑door markets. These expansions helped support new manufacturing capacity, local assemblies, and faster service response — all of which created fresh roles for technicians, service staff, project experts, and more.
Behind all this growth was a shared sense of excitement.
